Hotels are spread throughout various locations, and many of the cheapest hotels are located right in the centre, allowing you to find food and things to do close by.
There are many hotels to choose from when travelling to Qatar, including the choice between luxury or comfortable package deals. All of the hotels have modern conveniences, though luxury here will come at a price.

You can expect to find top international hotel chains, such as Four Seasons, Sheraton, W Hotel, Marriott, Hyatt, InterContinental any much more. You’ll also discover serviced apartments and business suites in convenient locations.
The Hotels are categorized with an official “star” rating in accordance with the standards monitored by the International Tourism Organization for Development and Investment (QATO) and the Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (QTEA)
Several Resorts are located around Doha with breathtaking beauty of the sea and sand dunes. These resorts offer a wide choices of rooms, including single/double rooms, suites and villas.
Five-star hotels
- Four Seasons Hotel Doha – Located in the Diplomatic district approximately 15 minutes from the airport, the hotel prides itself on setting and achieving the highest possible standards. There are 232 rooms, a quarter of which are suites. The hotel has an award-winning spa, as well as a fitness centre, outdoor pools and private beach. - La Cigale Hotel – Experience the sophistication of La Cigale Hotel, offering 214 rooms and 26 suites. - Movenpick Tower & Suites Doha – This recent addition to Doha is 20 minutes drive from the airport and is in the Diplomatic district. There are 350 rooms including 40 suites, and conference facilities occupy the 2nd floor of the 26 storey tower. Leisure facilities include an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, Wellness Centre and Children’s Playroom. There are also three exceptional restaurants.
- The Renaissance Doha City Center Hotel – Located in the new business district of West Bay and will blend business seamlessly with please. 15 minutes from the airport, the Renaissance Doha City Center Hotel connects to the City Center Shopping Mall. There are 32 rooms, 20 chalets, 20 villas and 2 suites, and also swimming pools, fitness amenities and a children’s playground, making this an ideal family getaway.
- Sharq Village & Spa – Operated by the Ritz- Carlton hotel group, the 174 room village has a large private beach area. It operates the largest Sixth Senses spa, built in the low rise Qatari style. The hotel has a ‘souq’ style shopping area. There are seven restaurants and lounges and it just a few minutes drive from the airport.
- Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel – Instantly recognisable as the pyramid-shaped building at the end of the Corniche, the Sheraton is one of Qatar’s oldest hotels comprising of 363 rooms and 62 suites. There is a private beach and lagoon in the landscaped grounds, as well as an outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. Voted ‘Best Business Hotel’ several times, the hotel is host to many international conferences each year. The hotel is 15 minutes from the airport.
- Al Sultan Beach Resort – Set in extensive grounds, the resort was once a palace and has 216 rooms, including 32 Amiri suites and 4 family Amiri suites, all on the beachfront. The resort has a private beach and three outdoor pools. On-site is a health club with gym, jacuzzi and sauna, a tennis court and water sports. There are two conference halls and three restaurants.

- Al Bustan Hotel – Ten minutes from the airport and overlooking the Corniche, the hotel is situated next to Qatar National Museum and is ideally located for the business district. It was the first boutique hotel in Qatar and proudly represents the best in Lebanese hospitality. There are 36 rooms and 10 suites and the hotel is home to the famous Albatross Lebanese restaurant.
